Sempra utilities are investing in modern, resilient energy infrastructure to help deliver safe, reliable energy to nearly 1 in 10 Americans each day. Priorities include upgrading transmission and distribution systems, expanding energy storage, hardening infrastructure to reduce outages, and using advanced technologies to help improve performance and support dependable service as energy needs evolve.

Developing climate resilience
Climate-related risks in our utilities' service territories range from wildfires to severe storms and extreme cold. To help maintain reliable energy delivery during disruptive events, Sempra's electric and natural gas utilities assess near- and long-term risks and invest in infrastructure hardening, winterization, wildfire mitigation and emergency preparedness.
